How to Use
Introducing cause & effect processes – when your toddler begins to walk, let him hold the pull string and encourage him to pull the duck. The duck will sing when pull and stops when standing. Repeating this action, will contribute to your child’s understanding of cause & effect, and will cause him to initiate pulling the duck along on his own. Development of balance and coordination – pull toys help your child to build confidence while walking and exploring the environment, as well as developing gross motor skills, balance and coordination. Development of imagination – Encourage your child to develop imaginative play with the duck. Ask him to talk to it, take it for a walk or feed it. This will also assist you in introducing your child to concepts such as far/close, slow/quick, go/stop etc, as you use it while playing with your child. Development of fine motor and social skills – show your child how to place and remove the bead cylinder on the back of the duck. Demonstrate pushing the beads from side to side, as you narrate your actions using color names. Sit opposite to your child and take turns in rolling the cylinder back and forth between you, developing your child’s social skills while preparing him for future play with others.
